Some groups have grown out of Halesworth Ash and some communities we directly collaborate with. Here are a few:
Blyth Community Conservation Network (BCCN) (formerly Open Spaces). A collective of local initiatives, organisations and individuals collaborating for the benefit of nature, the environment and community. BCCN grew out of Halesworth Climate Action Conference October 2023, and are led by Alan Miller.
Wilder Wenhaston comprises the following groups Heritage Trees Wilder Gardens Hedges Ponds in the Countryside Dark Skies The Blyth Woods (established 2012) to plan, plant and maintain community woods in the parish of Wenhaston, Suffolk and the parishes of the Blyth Valley. Rivers and Water Quality led by Wil Harvey, feeds into the Four Rivers Recovery Project
FOUR RIVERS RECOVERY PROJECT: Regenerating East Suffolk’s River Landscapes, using citizen science to survey and protect the four rivers Waveney, Blyth, Deben and Alde.
