About Halesworth Ash
Climate Action Halesworth/ASH has grown out of Halesworth Climate Action Conference 2023. It is an independent group and supported by Halesworth Town Council to meet the Town and Councils challenging target of becoming carbon neutral by 2030. Working with local communities we are gathering local solutions, driving sustainable actions to mitigate Climate Change. This umbrella group will help co-ordinate events/conferences forward.
Our aims are:
- To bring people together in seeking ways to mitigate climate change
- To raise awareness of partners, projects and businesses that are already engaged in finding practical ways to help
- Working with Halesworth Town Council, to lead the way in helping meet our challenging target of becoming carbon neutral by 2030. This means ensuring care for the environment is threaded through all the policies and decisions of local town and parish councils
- As a partnership of local churches..
We’ve been inspired by Woodbridge and their Climate Conference led by Woodbridge Climage Action.
