She uses intensive electric ie washing machines etc when the sun shines.
Not only that she exports electric to the grid and her income this summer has been £80 a month. She is currently £500 in credit which she has put this away to help pay for the potential increase in electric bill during the winter.
She sells electricity back to EDF at 15p per kilowatt
