2023 Climate Action Conference
If it’s about numbers: Around 500 people came to the conference, and over 300 people watched the live recording of the Panel discussion on YouTube, and many more saw it on BBC Look East. This web site had 2,000 + hits over the weekend.

Exhibition under the arches on for a week showcased 25 local projects and enterprises.
Schools – over 100 school children and staff came to engage in Climate Change creatively organised by Alison Alder, including activities and exhibits from Banham Zoo.
Any Questions Panel stimulated much media attention (excerpt from Look East TV), and tickets sold out! It was a lively discussion with movers and shakers facing your questions (sorry we could not include all) . Panel included the Secretary of State for Environment and our local MP, Dr Therese Coffey and Adrian Ramsay, co-leader of the Green Party. Rebecca Osbourne captured it for us:
Saturday Conference – A link to the speakers on Saturday, and we hope some of their slides, and summaries. County and local initiatives offering solutions to build climate change into our lives. A definite highlight was Prof Peter Hobson, live streamed talking from his home as he was suffering from COVID. It was his vision that was a springboard to this conference. Rebecca Osbourne’s creative tapestry of the day will we hope be on display in the town. Meanwhile, here’s a link to it’s evolution.
