In November 2025, scientists of all disciplines gave a face-to-face briefing to a hall full of MPs and leaders about the climate and nature crisis. Now Halesworth ASH is joining the campaign for the UK government to provide a National Emergency Briefing to wider society in a meaningful way. Our role is to lobby our MPs to add their voice to this call, through building local groups of campaigners.
The first step is to organise a film screening in each constituency of The People’s Emergency Briefing, a 45-minute film that sets out what the climate and nature emergency is, and why more people need to know about it.
That is exactly what they’ve done in Beccles….
