‘An uplifting and inspiring evening’, said a farmer to us after seeing 6 Inches screening at the Cut. Despite the coldest of nights, over 120 came out. A great turnout, and lovely lively buzzy atmosphere enhanced by the Kitchen Band, and the hessian willow display by Wakelyns. Great to see the HASH team (with badges!) as well as a good range of farmers. Linking people and ideas, from Virigina to Geoffs veg box scheme, to one from Rothamsted Research Institute with his teenage grandson, people to Halesworth Ash, to different ways of seeing soil and land.
Abi at Halesworth Bookshop has got some copies of the Six Inches of Soil book. Also both the Wilding film and Six Inches of Soil will be shown at Wenhaston early next year.
